Sawzall

Laying in bed tonight I am crammed into the upper right hand corner of a queen sized bed with my laptop barely positioned in a type-able manner. The bed is littered with dogs, literally. Daphne’s chin is resting on my left hand. She is drifting into slumber as I type. She is beginning to snore. I am thinking about changing her name to “sawsie” because she sounds like a sawzall. You know, those hand saws that look like an industrial electric carving knife.
What is with pitties and their snoring? Must be the shared ancestry with the Bulldogs.
The old man dog and the mill-chi don’t snore. Ike does like to run in his sleep (Greyhound go figure) and that can be startling in the middle of the night. He even starts breathing like a horse. But it is mostly the swift kicks to the ass I have an aversion to.
The mill-chi’s only downside is his midnight travels. The chi loves to sleep with the old man dog at the beginning of the night. At some point it is cuddle with mamma time, down under the covers he goes to curl up next to my belly.
The old man dog hates Chi’s guts. So I am at a loss as to why mill-chi wants to lay next to him. I mean Ike makes it perfectly clear that he finds no pleasure in his presence. Lately they have been vying for Sawzie’s attentions; who by-the-way likes sexin’ up the guys, much to my dismay and Debbie’s disgust. I mean really, now.

So Miss Madeline (the white and brindle pittie pictured above) is staying with me right now and her snore is like a human….the nasal deep inward breathe and then the long drawn out breathe coming out….I was just cracking up when I woke up to hear it! My pittie, Marri, barely ever snores. And Cedric well what he misses out in the snoring department he makes up 3 fold in the drowling dept.
hmmm maybe it is spelled drooling…gosh, why don’t blogs have spell check?!?
