Daphne (a.k.a. Punk) ~ Are you done yet?

Dogs are so unbelievably patient with their people.

Tonight the crew did not get their walk. My selfish needs got in the way. I had computer problems and had to run to the geeks for aid. Then it was time to take a bath. As I am getting ready to get into the warm soothing water I look out to the hall. The picture above is what I saw.

Then I jumped back onto the computer. Daphne likes to come and periodically check in. The video is kind of dark but you can still see how sweet this little angel is. 

Tonight I talked with a woman interested in adopting Daph. After our conversation ended and I hung up the phone, I found myself watching Punk intently - when she wasn’t aware. Just taking her in. I know over time I will forget the details. I can hope that I don’t but I swear my memory is not what it used to be.

I find myself realizing that Daphne will be leaving me soon. I will save my tears until then.

This is the hardest part.
