Out of the Cage!, the e-newsletter of the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals, recently published an article titled America’s Blame Game Goes to the Dogs by Karen Delise. Ruby makes an appearance in the article.

Ruby is a certified therapy dog and the 2007 Recipient of the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA) Hall of Fame Companion Award.

Karen Delise is the founder of the National Canine Research Council and is a New York state-licensed veterinary technician. The nation’s leading expert on fatal dog attacks, she is the author of The Pit Bull Placebo: The Media, Myths and Politics of Canine Aggression and Fatal Dog Attacks: The Stories Behind the Statistics.
