Lawyers Chase Pit Bulls too?
I certainly intend to offend no lawyers – BUT having said that – when did lawyers start specializing in dog bites by a specific breed?
Fred Pritzker has made it his personal goal. because as he says “Dog owners are responsible for injuries inflicted by their pit bulls and other dogs.” I feel especially warm and fuzzy knowing he resides and practices right here in Minneapolis, MN.
Why does Fred feel the need to make the distinction? Dog bite case profits just not up to par? Or is the distinction to reel a victim in? Perhaps he fears the potential client is just swishing their feet in the pool of suing possibility. Man – if you are bit by a pit bull rather than just some other dog prepare for your windfall of cash! And I am just the little weasel to git it fer ya!
Fred goes on to point out the following:
Compensation (damages) can include the following:
- medical bills associated with the pit bull bite
- future medical treatments
- psychological counseling
- loss of earnings
- pain and suffering
- disfigurement
You may also be able to recover compensation from people who don’t own the pit bull. For instance, a daycare center might be liable if staff allowed someone with an aggressive pit bull onto the property, or a landlord might be liable if he or she knew that a tenant had a pit bull that bites people.
Can you say leading? And can you also say, motivation to go get bit?
Well – I guess we know who is making it so hard to rent if you have pit bull. Which I can tell you from experience is a nightmare from hell to find!!! Three were days I called my sister in tears because no one would rent to me. Thankfully there are plenty of reasonable and rational landlords out there.
Fred is also concerned about your post pit bull attack and carefully illustrates the Steps to Take to Protect Your Rights after a Pit Bull Bite.
Maybe I am just having a bad day but Fred bugs me.

Oh – and he’s also a food safety lawyer. So next time you regret that run for the border you know who to call!

Yuk! I’ve even seen ads on daytime TV with these scummy excuses of flesh. Whatever it takes to make a buck! Sick.
