MY Sweet Baboo
Today is a day I simply cannot imagine NOT fostering. The rewards are just too bountiful. The days may be getting longer but it is still cold and tomorrow will bring another 4-8″ of snow.
But here, at my house, the warmth and love is plentiful. Here at my home I see progress everyday. Like last night when Bits rang the “gotta go outside” bell. The first time could have been a fluke but it was the second that made me smile and think to myself, “ah she is getting it!”.
Then there are these moments:
It just doesn’t get much better than that.
Oh but it does because then there are those moments when you may be sorting your digital photos and you see a “before and after” scenario. By now Bits story is well documented on this blog. Here is the photographic transformation. The first photo was taken 1/30 and the second 2/22.
This is the good stuff. This is why I foster.

Oh my gosh Lara, she is looking good! It never ceases to amaze me and warm my heart how these dogs are willing to move on. To forgive humans and not let their past overtake them. Go Miss Bits. =)
Is Baboo one of her nicknames? That was the name of one of our cats that died years ago. A good little name.
