Lately – Debbie has taken it upon herself to occupy Bit’s kennel. All well and good except for when I need to leave the house and she doesn’t want to get out. Debbie’s random kenneling began when I got really tired of hauling her stubborn ass out. At first food worked but then once she figured out that once she left the sanctity of the kennel she was done put out she resisted even that. So I started locking her in the kennel when I was leaving for short bouts. I thought for certain that would cure it. Nope. So I have continued to kennel Debbie for short periods of time when she will not come out.

To be honest I have never trusted Bits out. Granted she has only chewed a flip flop here or there. The nagging thought of “what if” usually leaves my head the moment I am outta the driveway.

Tonight was another night Debbie refused to leave the kennel when asked nicely so I locked her up. I was in a rush and if she didn’t care dammed if I was gonna.

Debbie is the dog in the back of the kennel.

Well tonight, having left the Bit out to her own devices, I came home to carnage.

Did I mention I got a new cell phone? Thank goodness the phone wasn’t in the box!

It’s a done deal. Debbie is outta the crate self or mamma ejected it’s all the same to me.
