Just stumbled across this blog while daydreaming of owning my own pittie. However, the best part of the blog is your writing! I spent some time scrolling through and reading your entries. I especially liked your dialogue with Jo (while you were teaching her to shake,) and the Dead Squirrel entry. Thanks for championing the bully breed... they're truly wonderful animals. Keep on keepin' on!

Hello, I saw a very short segment yesterday on the news (here in Atlanta) about your work. Hector was featured. I am curious about your presence in the south and if there's a way to get involved. I am a pit-mom, as well as 5 other large breed rescues over the years. I totally APLAUD your approach to educating children on the joys of getting to know a dog, as well as how to establish this relationship, which for some children is sadly foreign.

Very Best Wishes,
Susan VanHemert
