the saying, “A tired dog is a happy dog”. Sometimes it can be difficult in
today’s hectic society to find time to do everything we want and need to do
and it’s all too common that we see dogs that are [...]

Volunteer Meghan throws her biscuit into the ring!
My arrival into Crazy Dog Lady status has been gradual, although clear signs of this conclusion presented themselves earlier in life.

In Washington DC, the animal control center, which is run by the Washington Humane Society under the policies and supervision of the animal control group in the Department of Health, say that they adopt out [...]

Madeline ~ Come on and Walk my Way
Today we took the crew out to an abandoned campground that is situated on a chain of lakes and marsh.
It was a beautiful day. The dogs were in heaven. I mean what’s better than exploring a new area off leash? Complete with water!
Now bear with me.
As can be [...]

I am calling her Dora
Because she is on death’s door. Dora is a female pit mix. She is maybe 2 years or so but I am not the best to judge that. Although I usually have a pretty good idea.
Dora came to MAC (Minneapolis Animal Control) 5/24 so her 6 day hold is ’bout up. [...]

In the past year Debbie has managed to terminate three squirrels. Seemingly she has perfected the art. Keep in mind she is contained in a small fenced yard (city lot). But somehow she is able to commandeer both stealth and momentum.
The first time she killed I happen to glance out of the window. Something [...]
