Beginning Mat Pilates Session |
Developed over 100 years ago, Pilates is a mind and body conditioning program. While fully engaging the mind, Pilates targets core muscle groups to align and stabilize the spine. Pilates works with the breath to improve posture, flexibility and strength. The mat Pilates program focuses on building a solid foundation in this form of movement. Students will learn the principles and basic mat repertoire. Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursday evenings from 5:30-6:30 over a period of 8 weeks. The next session begins Tuesday, November 4. Core Pilates Studio is located at the corner of St. Clair Avenue and Fairview Avenue in St. Paul. |
