Education

We really want to focus on education here at A Rotta Love Plus. Knowledge is necessary for 'success'. Not only do we want A Rotta Love Plus to be successful; we want our foster homes, our adopters, and all other Rottweiler and Bully breed fanciers to be educated owners.

Education is the key to successful and responsible ownership. Owning these breeds is a huge responsibility. It is more than just owning a dog. With the reputation the these breeds have obtained through poor breeding, bad training (or lack of), and bad press, it is our responsibility as owners to ensure our dogs are well behaved, trained, and socialized.

Along with training and behavior are, of course, health concerns. Hip, elbow, and heart problems are prevalent in these breeds. An even bigger concern is the over-sized and obese dogs out there.

Please, unless you are showing your dog, know its lineage, and several other judges/breeders tell you it is an excellent specimen of the breed, then spay or neuter your dog. Help us end the number of unwanted dogs.
