Volunteer Opportunities
We are always in need of volunteers. The most need is, of course, for quality foster homes. However if you would like to help in other ways, you can!
- Event Planning
- Assemble information packets
- Phone Work: Reference checks and follow up calls to families that have adopted
- Home visits/evaluations of potential homes or families that have adopted
- Helping at Adoption Days (no adoptions actually take place at these events)
- Transporting dogs to the vet or new homes
- Emergency foster care (1-5 days for dogs in transition)
- Making calls to local media groups. We need some TV/radio coverage!
- Trainers/Training Schools (who are Rottweiler friendly)
- Veterinary Clinics to provide low cost services
