Star Tribune On Sunday, November 12, the Star Tribune featured an article about the discrimination that some homeowners face when they want to own a certain breed of dog. The reporter interviewed our own Beth DeLaForest, who also happens to be an agent with State Farm. While on the whole it was an informative article, it's important to note that there ARE several insurance companies, including State Farm, that do NOT discrimate based on breed but rather look at the history of the individual dog. For most people it's actually quite easy to change insurance carriers and what better way to show companies that you disagree with this form of discrimination than to take your business, and your money, elsewhere.
