AdoptionAll dogs in our program have been spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and health checked. These dogs are pet quality and not for breeding purposes. In addition, part of our mission is to educate people about indiscriminate breeding and the surplus of unwanted pets. Therefore, we will not adopt our dogs out to homes with other cats or dogs that are not spayed or neutered. If there is a medical reason or the cat or dog is a wonderful example of the breed and is being shown, we will still consider the application for adoption. We believe we have one of the best, if not the best, rescue organizations in Minnesota. We are very thorough when reviewing adoption applications. If you are 'in a hurry' to get a Rottweiler or Pit Bull then we may not be the best place to come. A Rotta Love Plus does conduct reference checks and setting up a convenient time for the foster family to meet with you may take some time. Our foster families grow very close to the rescue dogs in their homes and develop a loving bond with them. Therefore, our foster homes are actively involved in determining which family is the best fit for the dog in their care.
