RescueUnfortunately the number of homeless dogs far outweighs the number of those willing to help rescue them. Many people make uninformed decisions about the type of dog to get. This is often true in the case of Rottweiler and Bully breed owners. Once behavior or training problems arise then they decide to get rid of the dog. People need to realize that pets are family members. They are not disposable. 
Most of these dogs do not have a known history. Once we intake a dog they are placed into a suitable foster home until we find them a permanent family. The family will help us evaluate the dog's personality and behavior. The dog will be monitored to see how it reacts to daily situations such as visitors, going for a walk, car rides, vet visits and interactions with other animals.
